I am so happy to have another Rhythm offspring here! This pedigree is another that really excites me. I am making a concerted effort to improve rump width, udder texture, butterfat components, and overall structure. It’s harder than it sounds. This girl should absolutely help me towards that goal though! She is such a sweet girl, and she has a beautiful udder, with wide-open orifices and great attachments. She is so smoothly blended throughout as well.
DAM’S GENETICS: Dam Intuition Magic is a daughter of SGCH Pholia Farm RD Meet Virginia 4*M VVEE90 and Sugar Moon NS Alejandro, a multiple elite sire and sire of senior 2nd-place Get-of-Sire at 2023 ADGA Nationals. Virginia is a daughter of Sugar Moon Rocky Dolby, and it’s pretty exciting to have both Rocky Dolby and Alejandro that close up in the pedigree. It allows for some awesome linebreeding. Virginia was an elite doe 2015-2018, and was 2017 Breed Leader for Butterfat (#9) and protein (#8)! In addition, at the 2019 ADGA National Show, she was awarded High Lifetime Butterfat. Since I LOVE the high butterfat lines, pairing her genetics and Rhythm’s genetics was just too hard to pass up.
SIRE’S GENETICS: Rhythm’s dam, SG Better Wayz Harmony Carabear EEEE92, ELITE for FIVE consecutive years, holds the record for highest butterfat producer of all time. On her third lactation, she milked 1350 pounds, with 136 pounds of butterfat (10.1%). In fact, Rhythm has quite a few female relatives sitting on the top 10 list for butterfat. He is a half-sibling linebreeding on SG Elite Old Mountain Farm Elton Jay ++*B. Elton Jay’s dam holds the highest PTA (predicted transmitting ability) and PTI (production type index) for the entire breed. (PTA Milk +349, PTI1: 581, PTI2: 357). In addition, Rhythm’s dam and both grand-dams have LA scores of 91!
