Kidding Schedule

Goats are like chips…you can’t have just one!

I will be selling all available 2023 doelings as buy one, get one free. That’s 2 for $500!!! It’s so much easier on the goat to go to a new home with a buddy. Buyers may mix and match doelings from any kidding as long as the doelings are available at the same time. I will not hold doelings beyond weaning. Discount does NOT apply to any doe over one year old, and there are NO OTHER discounts available. Reservations are free up until kidding, but 50% deposit required to hold after kidding. I don’t expect to have very many available goats in 2023, so please reach out early if you’re interested. Please note that I rarely sell intact bucklings and 2023 will be no different.

Pixebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook FD Jubilee: kidded March 27, 2023
Triplet does

Jubilee has exceptional body and udder capacity and Frankie’s dam has such a wide and high escutcheon. These kids should be wide and deep. Linebreeding on TUA Farms SP Flash Drive *B, Old Mountain Farm Stag Party +*B, and SGCH Oak Apple Greta Go Girl 2*M VEEE90.

Springwater BR Apricot Disco *B x Pixiebrook CM Sambuca: due March 30, 2023
Moonspots possible.

Sambuca is one of my favorites for structure. She has both length and width of rump and her thurl height is pretty good. Disco should bring in the milk and another dose of excellent structure along with udder capacity.
Reservations: JB

Oak Apple Ayumu x Pixiebrook FD Konstanteeni: due May 19, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Repeat breeding that produced Pixiebrook Franklin. I love how he is turning out. Hoping for does this time around. Teeni is my widest doe and Ayumu brings in the length and tends to improve crops, shoulder assembly, and rear legs.
Reservations: BR, CB(Buck)

Pixiebrook Franklin x Old Mountain Farm Sunny Hart: Due May 20, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible. No reservations available.

Some distant linebreedings, but mostly focused on pairing Sunny’s excellent length with Frankie’s excellent width. Sunny has the highest thurls and best rump angle of any goat I’ve ever owned or seen (at least Nigerian). All her 2022 kids had promising rumps.

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Angry Bird: Due May 20, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Angry Bird is such an elegant doe. She is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I think she will pair very well with Frankie. She has a gorgeous dairy neck, nice width, and a decent rump. Frankie should help with teat size.
Reservations: BR, DM

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Never Mist a Trick: Due May 23, 2023
Polled, moonspots, and blue eyes possible.

Tricksie has rump structure that I’m trying to breed for. I’m hoping Frank adds that rear udder height and super wide escutcheon that his dam has.
Reservations: JF, LS

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Mithril Silver: Due May 23, 2023
Moonspots, silver, and blue eyes possible.

Silver is a nice doe. Frankie’s dam paired very well with the Flat Rock lines, so I’m hoping for the same kind of cross here.
Reservations: MB, SA

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Botamochi: Due May 23, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Mochi, like her dam, is pretty robust and is on the taller side. Frankie should bring the height down while maintaining width. Linebreeding on Proctor Hill Farm To Go Daddy EEE92. Very complementary cross.
Reservations: DM, JB

Pixiebrook Franklin x Oak Apple Kiri: due May 24, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Linebreeding on SG Old Mountain Farm Mizuki VVEE90 and some other very nice animals. I expect these to have very wide escutcheons, super high rear udders, and overall very nice conformation. Kiri has grown into what is very close to my ideal Nigerian Dwarf.
Reservations: DM(Buck), SA

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Grape Nehi: Due May 25, 2023
Moonspots, polled, and blue eyes possible.

Nehi is developing into a lovely doe. I am excited about this cross. She has exceptional spring of rib and long bone patterning. I can’t go wrong pairing her with Frankie’s udder genetics.
Reservations: BR, CS

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook MistRy: Due May 26, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Linebreeding on TUA Farms SP Flash Drive *B, Old Mountain Farm Stag Party, and Oak Apple Greta Go Girl, 2*M VEEE90. Really hoping we can pair MistRy’s front end with Frankie’s back end. MistRy is super wide–my widest junior. I’m hoping to improve rump angle and dairyness.
Reservations: TS, LD

Pixiebrook Franklin x Pixiebrook Miso: Due date June 10, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Miso is very promising. She is an improvement on her dam, and this is a half-sibling linebreeding on Ayumu, so I’m expecting good bodies and great udders.
Reservations: MA, JD, LD

Pixiebrook Franklin x Oak Apple Ginette: due June 15, 2023
Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Linebreeding on Proctor Hill Farm To Go Daddy, EEE92. Frankie should bring down height while keeping so many traits we’ve been working on. It’s no surprise that Ginette is my favorite. I will never let another daughter of hers go.
Reservations: DM(B). No other reservations available.

Springwater BR Apricot Disco x TUA Farm SP Ruby Red Dress: Due date June 19, 2023. Moonspots and blue eyes possible.

Ruby is one of my best and most favorite does. I’m hoping Disco improves shoulder assembly. Both lines have high production and gorgeous udders. Linebreeding on SG Old Mountain Farm Stag ++*B VEE88, sire to the 2018 National Premier Sire (and many other notable offspring). Real COI 6.4%.
Reservations: KB, CM, DF

Springwater BR Apricot Disco x Pixiebrook Keiko: Due date June 17, 2023
Moonspots possible.

Keiko has one of the most promising FF udders I’ve ever seen with nice teat size, great attachments, and very good rear udder height. Disco will add width and ample milk production genetics to the mix, and his dam was one of only three does milked out for best udder at 2019 nationals. Loose linebreeding on SG Old Mountain Farm Cernunnos (real COI 4.3%).
Reservations: DM (buck), CS

Springwater BR Apricot Disco x Pixiebrook Tsuki: Due date June 19, 2023
Moonspots possible.

Tsuki has such a lovely rump, length–pretty much everything. I cannot wait to see her FF udder given what Ayumu has passed on to his daughters. Disco should add another dose of amazing udders to this mix. His dam was one of only 3 to be milked out for best udder at 2019 nationals. I’m very excited for this cross.
