Kidding Schedule

Goats are like chips…you can’t have just one!

Due to the demands of graduate school, 2023 will be a late kidding season. Most stock won’t be bred until after Christmas, meaning kids won’t be born until May at the earliest, but I may shoot for even later. Kids will not be ready for their new homes until Fall 2023. Please feel free to reach out with any interest on reservations.

Breedings to Onaqui FC Hoot Owl
(Old Mountain Farm Fat Chance x Creamery Creek BB Wood Owl EEEE91 @ 02-08)

Not only is Hootie the son of an EEEE91 doe, his paternal grand dam is also EEEE91 (Old Mountain Farm Fat Tuesday). Tuesday is the littermate to the 2017 ADGA National Champion doe, Old Mountain Farm Merriment. E rumps on BOTH sides of this pedigree.

Old Mountain Farm Sunny Hart

(Old Mountain Farm Swift Elk x Old Mountain Farm Gazelle EEEE92)

Goal: This is my best to my best structure wise.

TUA Farms SP Ruby Red Dress

(Old Mountain Farm Stag Party x Almar Acres Ima Jewel Thief VEEV88).
Blue eyes possible.

Goal: Ruby’s table top back, nice teats, great escutcheon with Hootie’s good rump, his dam’s strong medial, and extra large teats for hand-milking.

Pixiebrook FD Konstanteeni

(TUA Farms SP Flash Drive *B x TUA Farms SP Ruby Red Dress)
Blue eyes possible.

Goal: Teeni’s back and superb spring of rib, coupled with Hootie’s good rump, his dam’s strong medial, and extra large teats for hand-milking.

Pixiebrook Never Mist a Trick

(Gabhran Creek Pretty GoodMistR x Oak Apple Norina)
Blue eyes, moonspots, and polled possible.

Goal: Tricksie already has a pretty good rump. Hootie should make it even more level while also improving front legs. This is a highly anticipated cross. Tricksie’s grand-dam is Oak Apple Buffa, EEEE92. Lots of really great structure in these pairings.

Breedings to Springwater BR Apricot Disco *B
(Better Wayz Rhythm x SG Springwater AL Apricot Nectar, VVEE88)

Apricot is multiple times Elite and was 2019 ADGA National 2nd place 2-year-old with 1st place udder. Disco’s paternal grand-dam is the ALL TIME RECORD HOLDER for Butterfat!

Oak Apple Kiri

(Oak Apple Audax x Oak Apple Kireina V+EE90, 3rd place 2021 Nationals)
Moonspots possible.

Goal: improve rump width and levelness, as well as bring in medial and capacity. Kiri has the most rounded escutcheon I’ve ever seen, and her teats are large, plumb, and properly placed.

Pixiebrook Keiko

(Oak Apple Ayumu x Oak Apple Kiri)
Moonspots possible.

Goal: Improve rump width and levelness from side to side. Keiko has a beautiful udder. Disco should add even more production.

Pixiebrook Angry Bird

(Gabhran Creek Pretty GoodMistR x Pixiebrook CM Sambuca)
Moonspots and Blue Eyes possible.

Goal: improve front legs and rump angle. Angry Bird has a good rump and it’s flat from side to side. I just would like to see it more level from hips to pins.

Pixiebrook Miso

(Oak Apple Ayumu x Pixiebrook FD Jubilee)
Moonspots possible.

Goal: Add in those high production lines from Disco, add rump width, and tighten up those shoulders.

Breedings to Pixiebrook Franklin
(Oak Apple Ayumu x Pixiebrook Konstanteeni)

These breedings are focused on improving escutcheon and teat placement.

Oak Apple Ginette

(Proctor Hill Farm To Go Daddy EEE92 x Old Mountain Farm Anahid +EVE88)
Blue Eyes and Moonspots possible.

Goal: Ginette has a pretty great front end assembly. Franklin is the perfect match to bring down height, improve withers, and round out that escutcheon. Linebreeding on Proctor Hill Farm To Go Daddy, EEE92.

Pixiebrook Botamochi

(Flat Rock’s Lumos Starlord x Oak Apple Ginette)
Blue Eyes and Moonspots possible.

Goal: Add escutcheon height/width and teat placement while keeping Mochi’s awesome length, brisket, neck and head.

Pixiebrook Jitterbug

(TUA Farms DF Louis Pasteur x Mtn Lodge MD Lovebug)
Moonspots possible.

Goal: I love Jitterbug for her upstandingness, her vigor, her neck, her front legs…pretty much all of it. I’m hoping for Frankie’s width to pair with Jitterbug’s great length, and I’m also hoping for improved attachments.

Pixiebrook Mithril Silver

(Flat Rock’s Lumos Starlord x Flat Rock’s Rose Spinner)
Silver, Blue Eyes, and Moonspots possible.

Goal: I love our Flat Rock’s goats, but they tend to have long escutcheons, which is something I want to improve. Frankie is the perfect choice to help with that.

Pixiebrook Sachi

(TUA Farms DF Louis Pasteur x Pixiebrook Keiko)
Blue Eyes and Moonspots possible.

Goal: Linebreeding on some wonderful goats. Also pairs up some great udders on both sides.

Breedings to DLMG Farms LJ Hot Fudge
(Almar Acres O Leroy Jethro G EEE90 x Almar Acres AK Mocha Cream EEEV89

These breedings are focused on improved overall structure, but especially shoulders.

Pixiebrook Grape Nehi

(TUA Farms DF Louis Pasteur x Pixiebrook CM Sambuca)
Polled possible.

Goal: I really love Nehi, but I would very much like to see better development in her brisket. This is a linebreeding on Castle Rock Cleveland Sage and Castle Rock Annika.

Pixiebrook Yoshi

(Oak Apple Ayumu x Pixiebrook FD Jubilee)
Moonspots possible.

Goal: Keep Yoshi’s incredible width and depth and tighten up those shoulders.
