Atlantis was the 2019 National Spotlight Sale buck consigned by Dragonfly Farms. Dragonfly is known nationally for structurally correct goats and is the go-to farm for rump structure. I wanted Atlantis based on his female relatives’ consistency, so color me happy when I found out that Atlantis scored VVE89 at 2023 appraisal, with an E in shoulders AND an E in rump! That just confirms the consistency in these lines. I have been searching diligently for those traits together and feel so fortunate that Atlantis gets to live at our farm. Atlantis is a very sweet boy with incredible width and depth and I expect his kids to be an improvement for us.

DAM’S GENETICS: Dragonfly SOL Fantasia was the 2016 Reserve Junior National Champion. She has remarkably consistent LA scores, scoring E in rump under three different appraisers, with a permanent LA score of 33 in rump angle and 34 in width. She scored V in shoulders twice and E in shoulders once, indicating more consistency. As a 6-year-old 5th freshener, she milked 1173 pounds. She scored EEEE92 as a 4-year-old, and VEEE92 as a 6-year-old for her permanent score. She became a finished champion in 2021. Fantasia is littermate sister to Dragonfly SOL Capriccio, who has 15 daughters appraised, with an overall rump angle trait average of 31.7. Five of those daughters scored E in rump. He has also sired 6 different daughters who have gone on to win best in shows. Fantasia is by Algedi Farm MH Solaris out of *B x SG ARMCH Flat Rocks Here for the Party *D 8-08 VEEE 90. Party was 3rd in her class at the 2007 AGS Nationals. Solaris is grandson to Rosasharn’s UMT Tupelo Honey, 2007 AGS National Grand Champion and Best Udder, as well as 2010 ADGA Reserve National Champion.

SIRE’S GENETICS: Dragonfly IH Poseidon is by PromisedLand Incredible Hunk, 2011 Nigerian Premier Sire and out of SGCH Flat Rocks Charybdis 5-03 VEVE 90, 2011 National Nigerian Best Udder.
