Springwater Noctrnal Emissions *B x Springwater AL Apricot Nectar 2*M

I am so excited to have Guava Nectar here. Guava has 9 first place wins with 2 GCH and 1 RCH, AND she was the 4th place intermediate kid at 2023 Nationals. She is structurally SO nice. If there is one thing I would change it is her teat placement, but her attachments are awesome and I love absolutely everything else about her udder. I’ll just pair her with bucks that have strong teat placement in their lines.

DAM’S GENETICS: Dam Apricot is a daughter of SG Sugar Moon NS Alejandro, who is well recognized for his impact on the breed. She is a 4x RCH, 2xGCH, 2xBOB, 2xBUOB, and has 2 championship legs. In addition, she was the 2nd place 2 year-old, with 1st place udder, 2019 ADGA National Show AND has been ELITE for FIVE consecutive years! She was one of only three Nigerians asked to milk out for best udder in show, losing only to the National and Reserve National Champions. She is also a recipient of the 2018 and 2019 Gold Juju ANDDA awards. She has milked well over 1000 pounds each lactation, even as a yearling. I’m also super impressed by her butterfat percentages. In addition, Grand Dam SG Sugar Moon RB Gianna 2*M is a full sister to SG Sugar Moon Rocky Dolby. She was elite (2019, 2020) top-ten breed leader (2018), milking in the 99th percentile with 1630 pounds on a 305 day lactation.

SIRE’S GENETICS: Springwater Noctrnal Emissions (Mustache) is a cross of two of the best in the Springwater herd. He is by Springwater OR Livn on th Edge and out of GCH Daylight SB Dream Katcher *M VEEE91. Dream has done very well at Nationals, placing 5th two-year-old in 2021 and 4th (with 2nd udder) four-year-old at 2023. To make things better, Edge is out of SGCH Springwater BL Janie’s Got a Gun 7*M VEEE90, who has also done well at Nationals, placing in the top 10 four times (2019 9th place yearling milker; 2021 1st place 3-year-old, Total Performer; 2022 7th place 4-year-old, High Lifetime Milk, High Lifetime Butterfat; and 2023 2nd place 5/6 year old, 2nd place udder)
