Springwater AL Jack Frost *B x Springwater U Walk This Way

Pepper is linebred on the famous Springwater BL Janie’s Got a Gun (Frosty). I find that linebred bucks are genetically prepotent, helping lock in those desirable traits. He should help us with udder texture, rump width, teat length, and so much more. Pepper is on the smaller side (which is good), but I’m so excited about how he is filling out. He’s turning into a very nice buck, and I like his overall structure. I’m super excited about the udders in his line and the possibility of getting more of the same. In addition, the more he grows, the more correct he seems to get. His legs are extremely correct and perfectly straight, with short pasterns. His hooves are very easy to maintain because of his correct structure. I love his topline, his head, his strength, his increasing depth with age, his flat bone patterning, his blending, his rear leg angulation…the list just goes on. I am so happy with this guy! Plus, I think his roaning is just adorable.

DAM’S GENETICS: Dam Springwater U Walk This Way is an up and coming beautiful doe (8th place yearling milker at 2022 ADGA Nationals; 10th place 2 year old at 2023 ADGA Nationals). She has one champion leg already and she is the dam of the 2022 Colorama Sale doe. Walk scored +VVV86 @ 02-05, with Vs in all structural categories. I have no doubt she will have higher scores as she ages. Walk is out of 7*M SGCH Springwater BL Janie’s Got a Gun (Frosty) VEEE90. Frosty is well known throughout the Northwest.
